We are happy to announce the new stable version 1.5.0 of Check_MK. This has been in development for over 15 months and almost 5500 git commits. As usual you can expect many new features alongside the standard bug fixes.

Below I'd like to look at some of the more prominent changes that you can look forward to when you decide to upgrade.

New UI #6356

Wato #6240

SLA Reporting #5823

Agent updates now support proxying #5277

Docker monitoring #5988 #5987 #6024 #6025 #6023 #6178 #6179 #6176

After 15 months of development and nearly 5500 git commits, the new stable version of Check_MK has just been released. In addition to a large number of bug fixes we have added about 400 smaller and bigger features to Check_MK.

We have built a new design for the Check_MK GUI which is automatically used for new sites. Existing sites need to activate this new design. To do so use the Global Setting "User Interface > UI Theme" to change the default theme for your whole installation. Additionally, each user can change the theme on his/her user profile page.

The Enterprise Edition comes with a SLA reporting system which is based on the already existing availability computation.

Most of the changes are also available in the free Raw Edition. With this release, Check_MK ships with more than 1500 built in and fully integrated check plugins for all kind of hard- and software. Many of these plugins have been extended with this release. 250 of these checks have been added since the last stable version. The Hard- and Software Inventory system has been extended significantly and can now be used for handling frequently changing data.

For a full list of changes have a look at at the werks page (https://mathias-kettner.de/check_mk_werks.php?branch=1.5.0). Alternatively, you may use the release notes page of you Check_MK site (click on the version at the top of the sidebar) for more flexible filtering options of the werks.

Installation packages for Debian, Ubuntu, SLES and RedHat are available for download on https://mathias-kettner.de/download/.

We hope you enjoy this new version and as always reach out if you want a presonalized demo.
